Welcome to yet another edition of the Logic IO Newsletter!
In the
April
22 newsletter we had the pleasure to release the new and
exciting RTCU CX1 series,
and we are now complementing this breaking event with the
following software releases:
- RTCU IDE V5.90
- RTCU Communication Support Package V1.36
The RTCU IDE V5.90 is necessary to utilize the exciting new
features of the RTCU CX1
series - including the advanced 3D accelerometer!
Some of the features in the RTCU IDE 5.90 require X32 firmware
release V2.40 scheduled for release within a very short time.

RTCU IDE V5.90
This is an important release of the RTCU IDE supporting all the new
features of the RTCU CX1
series.
The list of enhancements :
General Enhancements:
- Support for the new RTCU CX1 series - including
the 3D accelerometer API.
- Job variable
configuration now supports the general 'Ignition' input, that
maps to a unit specific input.
Ignition will map to input 5 or input 1 depending the
specific unit (requires firmware V2.40). - Information
bar shows complete unit type, for example RTCU MX2 pro
(only
new serial-number format). - Improved documentation
on using MODBUS and the I/O extension functionality.

Simulator Enhancements:
- Support for the
general 'Ignition' input.
- Ignition input can
now be selected to map either to digital input 1 or digital
input 5.

Bugs which have been fixed in this
release:

Quick-format of SD-CARD
reported 'unknown error' in case of communication problems.

Internal flash drive on
device reported 'Not present' after refresh when SD-CARD
selected.

Find dialog controls placed
incorrectly in some screen resolutions.

Simulator time keeping
worked incorrectly, when the clock was moved backward in time.
