Connect signals to software

One gateway.
A range of field interfaces.

Combine local I/O and wired equipment with cellular and network communication. Develop the application in RTCU M2M Studio, then run it on the Linux-based NX32L architecture.

Connect your installation

Ethernet, dual RS232 and dual RS485 channels connect local equipment. WLAN, Bluetooth Low Energy 5.3, LTE Cat. 4 and GNSS add wireless communication and positioning.

Work with mixed signals

Use four analog inputs, four analog outputs, five digital inputs and four relay outputs. Expand the application’s I/O through standard Modbus modules.

Plan the power supply

The device accepts AC or DC supply and has a nominal 2 Ah backup battery. Check the supply requirements for analog outputs and S0 inputs, and configure the application’s power-loss behavior.

Minimum local setup

  • A Windows PC with RTCU M2M Studio.
  • The device, its documented power source and model-specific programming cable. Install the driver required for that connection.
  • Antennas for the radio interfaces you use; a SIM and service subscription if the application uses cellular connectivity.

Remote M2M Studio access adds network connectivity and the RTCU Communication Hub. The Deployment Server is optional for managed remote updates.
