Application-ready interfaces

A compact link
between systems.

Collect field signals, execute application logic and communicate with your infrastructure. The LX5 ultra combines wired and wireless interfaces with programmable I/O in a compact enclosure.

Connect your equipment

Ethernet, CAN 2.0B, RS232, RS485 and 1-Wire connect the gateway to field equipment. Expand I/O using standard Modbus modules.

Communicate beyond the cabinet

Worldwide LTE Cat. 4, WLAN and multi-constellation GNSS provide cellular, local wireless and positioning capabilities.

Choose your installation

An 8–36 VDC supply range and onboard 2 Ah Li-Ion backup battery support installation flexibility. A DIN rail version is available.

Minimum local setup

A Windows PC with RTCU M2M Studio.
The device, its documented power source and model-specific programming cable. Install the driver required for that connection.
Antennas for the radio interfaces you use; a SIM and service subscription if the application uses cellular connectivity.

Remote M2M Studio access adds network connectivity and the RTCU Communication Hub. The Deployment Server is optional for managed remote updates.
